…good old Staking4ADA kept crunching blocks like there’s no tomorrow.
OK I am exaggerating a bit, but it’s always nice to see something actually works as intended 🙂
In this particular case, [4ADA2] produced a block, 4 minutes later followed by [4ADA] and [4ADA3], producing two consecutive blocks (403858 and 403859), the last of which was a slot battle won by [4ADA3].
Happy staking!
9 blocks for 4ADA3 today…woot woot
Something is wrong in 4ADA2
Hi! No, nothing wrong, pool is working great. We did however get low blocks assignment for a few days. This is part of the Shelley randomization protocol. Since all pools get the same block allocation over time (proportionate to their size), low blocks with lower rewards eventually will ALWAYS get averaged out with lots of blocks and higher rewards, so -in case you have been unhappy with rewards these past few days, it is just a matter of patience until they get compensated by higher than usual rewards. The larger the pool size, the stronger these variations are, so if you prefer to have more similar rewards every day, choose 4ADA (which is double the size). If you want a chance of very high rewards (with the risk of sometimes no rewards at all), choose a small pool such as 4ADA3.
Does this answer your question? If not, let me know!
Happy staking! 🙂
