Hi everyone!Apologies to anyone who would have liked to hear from me a bit more often, but we're getting busy in setting up the new pool infrastructure for mainnet! Today we registered our 4ADA pool on the new testnet (which unfortunately does not provide any rewards at all) and it is clear that the new node software, which is written in an entirely different programming language (Haskell) than the current node software on ITN (Rust), is built on a much more solid foundation. However, let's not get overexcited too soon, as some important elements are still missing from the testnet versions we have seen so far.At the same time, on the ITN it is business as usual as you surely have experienced as well these past few weeks. Rewards are coming in steadily, albeit a bit less attractive than a few months ago, but this is common for all pools and all delegators, as it is related to the ever increasing total stake and increased network stability which has led to less and less blocks getting missed by lower performance pools, which gradually has decreased the average block reward from 1000 in the beginning of the ITN to just around 850 these days; that is 15% less rewards for everybody!So, let's just ride this thing to the very end, probably just for another 2 or 3 weeks or so. I will keep you updated whenever more precise dates are announced when the ITN is going to end paying rewards.In the meantime, have a look at the average ROI from the last 10 epochs, as provided by adapools.org<\/a>:4ADA2 is in close lead with 10.48%, but 4ADA3 will probably take over tomorrow by a small margin. Just a short note to inform that everything is running smooth. We concluded epoch 223 with great results for 4ADA and W4ADA. Only F4ADA stayed below average ROS, due to low block assignment (compared to what normally expected for its size, F4ADA only got 80% assignment).Due to the fact that I am traveling until tuesday, I unfortunately cannot provide the new slot leadership assignments, and update the performance stats on the pool pages for epoch 224 (how many blocks we get to produce this epoch), until then.Sites like pooltool.io<\/a> etc. are continuously improving their data. F4ADA will have to do with less, with 18% less blocks than expected.W4ADA keeps on getting relatively few blocks (with one exception in epoch 239). We've only been assigned 8 blocks during this epoch, where 11 were expected (-30%).In december, W4ADA has been enjoying a 15M delegation from the Cardano Foundation, which has now ended, making it shrink to only around 3M ADA in size. W4ADA's small size means it is not guaranteed to generate rewards every epoch. Profitability for its delegators should however still be the same compared to larger pools.In order to make W4ADA a little more attractive, its variable fee has now been reduced to 0%! If you prefer steady rewards it is recommended to stick with 4ADA or F4ADA.
